War and Terrorism: Lessons from Iraq

Sir Jeremy Greenstock, former British Ambassador to the UN from 1998-2003, from 2003-2004 UK Special Representative for Iraq and currently chairman of Gatehouse Advisory Partners and Chair of the UN Association of the UK.

A decade after British forces entered Iraq to overthrow the government of Saddam Hussein, we welcome on to campus a hugely experienced diplomat who served as the British government’s representative on the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. Sir Jeremy will talk about the decision to invade Iraq in 2003 and the legacy of the conflict.
