Professor Catherine Farrell has contributed an article to a feature on International Women’s Day.
More than twelve USW academics shared their thoughts on what International Women’s Day means to them.
The feature also serves to highlight some of the important research taking place at the University, in areas as diverse as genetics, human rights, governance and reproductive health.
“As I write this, I am aware of the huge advances there have been in relation to the presence of women in public life. Whilst the picture is a positive one, there continues to be an ongoing concern.
