External Visitor to the Centre for Social Policy
Dr Yvonne Franke’s main research interests encompass power relations in and the social and political embeddedness of global value chains and qualitative methods in empirical research. She currently works as a Postdoc at the University of Göttingen (Germany), where she is involved in the transdisciplinary research project “Diversity Turn in Land Use Science: the importance of social diversity for sustainable development – the case of vanilla farming in Madagascar”.
During her time at USW, Yvonne will work closely with Dr Katharina Sarter, a Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Policy.
